If you would like to rent Deaf Jam for a public screening at your school, community, local theater or film festival, all you have to do is fill out this form and we will be back in touch to coordinate the details.

WORKSHOPS with Artists from the film

The film and workshops are being used as a tool for empowerment, creativity, dialogue, tolerance, and collaboration. Workshops have been held at high schools, Universities, and with community groups and organizations.

Workshops in ASL poetry and Slam poetry are available for hearing and deaf participants combined or separate.
The following options are available:

  • One workshop (2 to 3 hours)
  • Two day workshops culminating in a performance
  • Two day workshops including a video component to create video poems
  • Weekend intensives culminating in a slam competition
